About Premier Designs

My name is Mark Clayton and I am the proprietor of Premier Designs. I have been in the kitchen industry for 25 years, so there is not much I don't know about improving your home. There are lots of home improvement companies but I set out to make Premier Designs different. Our customers are not just a number, we take extra care to make sure you are happy with our work, and I have never had an unhappy customer to my knowledge.

I have never appeared on a program like Watchdog,  I have never been taken to court by a customer, never been reported to the Trading Standards office or the Citizens Advice Bureau, never been bankrupt or involved with a bankrupt company, in fact I have never even received so much as a letter of complaint from a customer. I am also a sole trader, not a limited company, and am happy to provide as many references as you might like, along with visits to previous customers for your peace of mind.

What happens when you ring Premier Designs?

We don't have a showroom, I come to your home. You can see the samples in your own kitchen which gives a much better idea of what the kitchen will look like than the unreal environment of a showroom, and you don't have to leave home. I will measure the room and ask you exactly what you would like, advising you along the way as to what might work well, but always producing a design that is what YOU want. Please spend some time thinking of what you would like before I visit as your input is important. I will stop you doing anything silly but never push you into something you don't want.

It will take about a week to produce a quotation. I will return with a 3D picture of your new kitchen and an itemised quotation - there are no hidden extras in my quotes, everything is included and itemised so you can see what you are getting for your money. We offer a full service including plumbing, electrics, tiling, and removing the refuse.

At no time will I pressure you to buy anything. You only buy from me if you want to buy from me, it's your choice. We are normally booked up for some months so we won't starve if you prefer something you saw elsewhere. Having said that, nine out of ten customers I see buy from Premier Designs - many based on recommendation from friends who we have worked for.

We always start when we say we will, I will personally visit your home during the work, and we finish your project before we start the next one. We only do one project at a time. I want you to be happy so you will tell your friends how marvelous we are. Remember that we are a small family business so our reputation is paramount.

It has taken a long time to build a small expert team of fitters who could fit to my very high standards - I have yet to meet a customer who is fussier than me. All our men are very experienced in their fields of work and have done the job for years. We will at all times respect your home - we use dustsheets when required, clean up at the end of every day, and we don't smoke in your home.
